The town emblem was adopted on Jul 1st 1960 by Notice No 36 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a white and a maroon two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 入 Nyu of Nyuzen. It represents an image of the town which is strongly developing.
