The town emblem was adopted in Sep 1957 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 川北 Kawakita. The kanji 川 symbolizes Tedori River which takes its water from a grand Mt.Hakusan and a step to the future, the kanji 北 does Kaga Plain of fertility, a richness and a peace of the town.
