The town emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a light blue and an orange three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized N of Noto. The green color stands for the trees grown in abandunt fields and a peace, the light blue color for a sea and rivers and the orange color for the Sun providing people with a vigor. It represents a wish for the former three villages to become a vigorous town.
