The town emblem was adopted on Jan 11th 1966 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ツバ Tsuba of Tsubata in a form of a flying bird. The circle symbolizes a solidarity and a peace of the town people, the image of the town which takes a firm root on the ground does a stability of the town administration.
