The town emblem was adopted on Feb 13th 2006 by Notice No13 but there is no flag law. The white flag has blue town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized e of e of Eiheiji. The blue color represents the Kuzuryu River running into the town center in a shape of a ripple expanding to the future. As a whole the emblem is an image of people trying to catch the future with open arms.
