The town emblem was adopted on Jan 1st 1958. but there is no flag law. The light blue flag has white town emblem in the center. The emblem is a combination of stylized three Katakana Mi ミ and Ma マ in the middle. It looks like a round shaped Daruma doll which represents stability and balance. The combination of four letters symbolizes an annexation of four villages to form Mihama town in the past.
