The town emblem was adopted on 4th Oct 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has town emblem of two colors green and blue in the center. The town emblem is a stylized O of Ohi. The green circle stands for harmony, solidarity and two blue waves for an amalgamation of former town and village. As a whole it represents a vigor town figure which has a superb landscape of Japan Sea and Wakasa Bay and blessing from earth.
