The City emblem was adopted on Jul 1st 1954 by Notice No 3. but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized Chinese character Oh 大 of Ohno. The circle stands for harmony and solidarity and the point of sword shape symbolizes city’s future progress.

Izumi Village / 和泉村

The flag of the former village of Izumi was purple with mark. The village is now, from 2005, part of the city of Ono.
