The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Oct 1st 2005 by Notice No 1 and
2. The white flag has a green and an orange two color city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized kanji 安 A of Azumino. The green color symbolizes
an abandunt nature and the orange color does a solidarity in a form of a ring
connecting with the citizen. The flag proportion is 13:20.

is now, from 2005, part of the city of Azumino.
