The village emblem was adopted on Jul 20th 1972 by Notice No 17 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has an orange village emblem with a white fimbriation and its kanji name in white at the bottom part. The villege emblem is a stylized kanji 木 Ki and katakana ソ So. The upper part stands for a beautiful timber, the middle part for a mountain and flowing water from the mountain, the lower circle for a rich and pastoral village administration.
