The village emblem and the flag were adopted on Sep 27th 1974. The green flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized katakana ミナミミノワ Minamiminowa. The letter ミ on both side stands for an image making a leap for the future, the letter ナ for rich fruits and the letter ワ for the villagers concord and cooperation. The flag proportion is 2:3.
