The village emblem was adopted on Nov 25th 1974 by Notice No 30 but there is no flag law. The white flag has an orange color village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized katakana ミ Mi of Miyada. The lower curved line stands for the earth with long history and aged people, the middle line for adult people supporting the village mainly and  the upper line for children and young men supporting the village. The inner space in white sybolizes an unknown hope. It represents an image of the village getting together to make a leap for the future.
