The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Oct 1st 2005 by Notice No 1 and 2. The white flag has a red, a blue and a green three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized N and W of Nagawa. The red color stands for the Sun, the blue color for a clear blue sky and the green color for the earth. It represents an energetic town in which the people are running to the Sun. The flag proportion is 2:3.
