The city emblem was adopted on Mar 6th 2006 by Notice No1 but there is
no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue , a pink and a red four color
city emblem in the center. The 4-leaf green clover with the city name in white
stands for a harmonious integration of the former four towns and villages, the
cherry flower for the citizen walking forwards in good spirit and the blue
center of a flower for Sanada family crest of six coins. As a whole, it
represents the city’s vibrant development for the future with its nature.
