The town emblem was adopted on Oct 9th 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a red and a blue three color town emblem in the center. The green color stands for the town’s nature and the earth, the blue color for Chikuma River stream and the red color for the people’s dreams and a surge in an image of flower. It represents a wish for a building plan of the town which lives together with an abandunt nature and make a leap to the future.
