The city emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1982 by Notice No 14 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 可 Ka of Kani which symbolizes a reconciliation and limitless surge of the city.

Kaneyama Town / 兼山町

The flag of the former town of Kaneyama was blue with mark. The town is now, from 2005,part of the city of Kani.
