The town emblem was adopted on Dec 24th 1968 but there is no flag law. The yellow green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana サ Sa of Sakahogi. The circle symbolizes the town peoples solid combination and a reconcillation, the white space in the circle does a young bud taking root in the earth to extend upward and grow widely. It represents an image of a bright and a livable town with a limitless improvement and a development of the industry and the culture.
