The village emblem was adopted on Feb 1st 1963 by Notice No 3 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a purple village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a katakana シ Shi of Shirakawa. The circle symbolizes a happiness and a repletion. The pyramid at the bottom part symbolizes A frame and the space in the middle part does expansive mind of the villagers.
