The city emblem was adopted on Apr 29th 1941 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white city emblem in the center. The outline of corner cutoff originated from the crest of Mishima Shrine and makes Mt.Fuji form. The three lines inside represents waterflow and kanji 三 Mi of Mishima.
