The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Sep 1st 1972 by Notice No 37. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The emblem is a combination of four stylized katakana ヨ Yo of Yoshida and kanji 田 Da. The round form symbolizes the town people’s coincide and the outer four ヨ represents four districts of Yoshida town. The kanji 田 including a cross represents a solidarity and no end of development. The blue color stands for Suruga Bay and Ohi River which is a symbol of town’s surge. The flag proportion is 7:10.
