The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Apr 1st 1981 by Ordinance No 1. The white flag has a green city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana い I of Inazawa. The circle symbolizes a holding power, a peace and a repletion. and the sharp edge does a success. The flag proportion is 7:10.
