The city emblem was adopted on Nov 11th 2006 by Notice No 226 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green and blue two color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized N and NAGOYA. The letters extending radially symbolizes the future vision of the city transmitting the possibility to the world. The sterically falling out letter N does the citizen’s limitless power and the hope.
