The village emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 25th 1980 by Order No 2. The green flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana と To of Tobishima. The upper letter V symbolizes a limitless development for the future and the lower circle does the people’s wish for a peaceful life for all time. The flag proportion is 7:10.
