The city emblem was adopted on Nov 1st 2004 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red, a blue and a green three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 伊 I of Iga. The green color stands for citys nature, the blue color for the history. It represents an image of the city surrounded by mountains and a rich nature where the people shines and can realize a livable life and an image of the citizen making a leap to the future.
