The town emblem was adopted on Jan 10th 2006 by Notice No 56 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green and light green two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 宝 Ho of Kiho which  is an image of blessed riches brought from sea, rivers and mountains. The curve line with uplifting feeling symbolizes a coexistence between the people and  the nature. It represents a vigor strongly making a leap into the future.
