The city emblem was adopted on Oct 1st 2004 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green and orange two color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 甲 Ko of Koka. The green circle stands for a healthy city where the people can live in peace. The inside of the circle symbolizes a vigorous and brilliant city. The orange one is the people and it represents the city features the people.

Minakuchi Town / 水口町

The flag of the former town of Minakuchi was blue with mark. The town is now, from 2004, part of the city of Koka.
