The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Oct 11th 2005 by Notice No 1 and 2. The white flag has a green and a yellow green two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 丹 Tam in a form of a circle of people. It represents an image of the town which inherits a rich nature, culture and history with caution by an interchange and a linkage of the residents to make a leap forward to the future. The flag proportion is 2: 3.
