The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 20th 2006 by Notice No 1.
The white flag has a green, a white two color city emblem in the center. The
city emblem is a stylized K of Kato. The three white figures symbolize
merged three towns. It represents an image of the garden city which has a vigor
of the citizen living together with green nature. The flag proportion is 2:3.

2006, part of the city of Kato.
