The town emblem was adopted on Mar 31st 2006 but there is no flag law. The
white flag has an orange, a green, a blue three color town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana さ Sa of Sayo. It represents the town
people who spreads their hands and an image of a rich green and fresh streams
looking their best in the sun.
