The city emblem was adopted on Oct 1st 2005 by Notice No 81 but there is no
flag law. The white flag has a red, a blue, a green three color city emblem in
the center. The city emblem is a stylized T of Tatsuno. The red color stands for
the sun, the blue color for a fresh breeze from Ibo River, the green color for a
fruitful earth. It represents the city which is blessed with nature and the soar
to the future.
