The town emblem was adopted on Dec 1st 1965 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ヒ Hi of Hirogawa in a form of a flying bird. It represents a peace , a reconcillation and a solidarity of the town and an improvement and a development of the industrial culture.
