The town emblem was adopted on Jan 12th 1971 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white and an orange two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 古 Ko of  Kozagawa in a form of a flying bird from a lucky symbol of folding-fan. The white three lines stand for a fresh stream of Koza River.
