The town emblem was adopted on Jul 8th 1915 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 士 in a form of a chrysanthemum surrounded by waves which represent sea = 海 The lower three curved lines symbolize water.
