The town emblem was adopted on May 13th 2005 by Instructions No 2 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue, a light blue, a red three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana き Ki and  kanji 中 Chu in a form of a flying bird. The red oblong symbolizes a passion of the town people. The flying bird represents a wish for a development and a surge of the town.
