The town emblem and the flag were adopted on May 8th 1970 by Notice No 22. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana ふ Fu of Fuchu. The three lines symbolize a concord and a development of the town. The flag proportion is 7:10. The height of the emblem is 3/5 of the height of the flag.
