The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Oct 20th 2005 by Notice No 208.
The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a
stylized K and katakana ヒ Hi of Kitahiroshima. The green color stands for
Chugoku Mountains, rich trees and the country view, the white color circle does
an image of the vast area which goes into the future, the curved line does an
abandunt water and the headstream. It represents an image of the town which
develops with an uplifting feeling and growing. The flag proportion is 2:3.

The flag of former town of Chiyoda was purple with mark. The town is now,
from 2005, part of the town of Kitahiroshima.
