The town emblem was adopted on Jan1st 1957 but there is no flag law. The white flag has an indigo blue town emblem in the center. The indigo blue color stands for a clear sky, a fertile plain field and the fresh streams of Yoshino River, the circle for a conformity of the people, an unlimited development and a wish for a realization of a peacefully livable ideal world.
Aizumi Town General Affairs Section confirmed the color of the town emblem is not called a purple but an indigo blue. Ai of Aizumi means indigo blue color.
