The town emblem was adopted on Mar 31st 2006 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue, green and a red three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized K of Kaiyo. The green color stands for the nature, the blue color for the sea and the red color for the sun. It represents a homeland of an interchange with an abandunt nature, a town creating a comfort and a harmony, a development of the town and a saltation of the town people.
