The village emblem was adopted on Mar 6th 1980 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue and an orange two color village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana さ Sa of Sanagochi. The blue color stands for the village and the stream of Sonose River and the orange color for a main product orange. The upper sharp edge symbolizes an active development to the future, the circle does a peace.
