The town emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue and a green two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana つ Tsu of Tsurugi. The blue color stands for a fresh stream and a blue sky, the green color for the nature and the inside white space for Mt. Tsurugi. It represents a healing hometown enveloped with an abandunt nature.
