The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Sep 21st 2004 by Ordinance No 3.
The white flag has a blue, a green and a red three color city emblem in the center.
The city emblem is a stylized hiragana と To of Toon in a form of an advancing person.
The red circle stands for a passionate city which grows dreams, the blue color and the green
color for an abandunt nature, the two curved lines for the merger of two towns.
As a whole, it represents an image of the dream creating city which makes a leap forward to the future.
The flag proportion is 7: 10.
The diameter of the emblem is 3/5 height of the flag.

2004, part of the city of Toon.
