The city emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 2006 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue,a green and an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is stylized katakana カミ Kami. It represents an image of the people in an abandunt nature of the new city who bounds to the future and the city where everyone buids up a basic idea, a brightness, a bustle of the city.
