The town emblem was adopted on Nov 13th 2006 by Notice No 106 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue and a red three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana よ Yo of Yoshinogari. The green color stands for abundant trees, the blue color for fresh water and the red color for the delightful, vigorous and peaceful town with the passion and the pride of the people living together with nature.
