The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 1st 2004 by Notice No 1. The white flag has a green city emblem in the center. The city emblem is six stylized hiragana つ Tsu of Tsushima which symbolizes merged six towns. It represents the flow of time to connect with the history and the future. The flag proportion is 2: 3. The height of the emblem is 3/5 height of the flag.
