The city emblem was adopted on Mar 31st 2006 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue, a green, an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana くに Kuni of  Kunisaki. It represents an image of the city where a valuable history, a climate and an industrial culture live together with an eco-friendly local community enveloped with a nature and vividly and strongly make a leap forward to the future and develop and prosper.

Musashi Town / 武蔵町

The flag of the former town of Musashi was white with mark. The town is now, from 2006, part of the city of Kunisaki.
