The city emblem was adopted on Nov 1st 2008 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a yellow, a green and a blue three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana い I of Isa. The left part symbolizes a rice stalk and the right part does a fresh stream which grows rices. It represents an image of a rich nature and a land of abundance.

Hishikari Town  菱刈町
