The town emblem was adopted on Mar 20th 2006 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue, a light blue and a red three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana な Na of Nagashima in a form of the sun shining in the town surrounded by the sea. The waves symbolize a vigor and an integrated town surrounded by the sea.
