The flag of Shibushi city is white with symbol. The city was founded on 2006 by merger of towns Shibushi (former), Ariake and Matsuyama.

The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Jan 1st 2006 by Notice No 1 and No 2. The white flag has a blue, a green and an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized S of Shibushi. The blue color stands for Shibushi Bay, the green color for the earth blessed with an abandunt nature and the orange color for the vigorous citizen. It represents an image of the city which is livable and comfortable.
The flag proportion is 2:3. The height of the emblem is 3/5 of the height of the flag.
