The village emblem was adopted on Dec 9th 1980 by Notice No 69 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red and a black village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a combination of stylized kanji 十 To of Toshima in the upper part and a shape of the island village in the lower part. The circle stands for a firm solidarity of the villagers and the red color for villagers’ passion for the future.
Toshima village general affairs section confirmed today the color of the official flag is a white but not beige. I think Tomislav’s image was made based on the old flag with the color changed.
Please change the color of the flag to white.
