The town emblem was adopted in Jan 1968 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue and an orange two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem depicts a ring (Wa) and (TO) a ball (Mari). The blue ring symbolizes a conformity and a solidarity, the orange ball does an elastic force and a soar. The smaller circle stands for a stamen of a lily as a symbol of hope and joy, the larger circle for the color of the sea as a symbol of a reliance.
